Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-08
Welcome to SKLOOPS (the "Platform"). By using the Platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy in their entirety. If you do not agree to any term, please stop using the Platform immediately.
1. Acceptance of Terms
You agree that any use of the Platform — including but not limited to browsing, searching, registering, logging in, listing items, making offers, sending messages, and leaving reviews — constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy in their entirety, and binds you to them, without any further signature or confirmation.
2. Nature of Service and Fees
The core features of the Platform (browsing, searching, listing, offers, instant messaging, reviews) are currently provided free of charge and unconditionally, with no fees, commissions, or hidden charges. SKLOOPS reserves the right to introduce optional paid features or value-added services in the future; any charges will be clearly stated before introduction, and you are free to choose whether to use them — not using paid features does not affect any core feature. Free provision does not imply any additional responsibility or warranty on the part of SKLOOPS — the Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis (see Disclaimer).
3. Role of the Platform
The Platform only provides information posting and matching features. SKLOOPS does not pre-screen users or content posted by users, and does not intervene in transactions between users. SKLOOPS is not a party, agent, broker, escrow provider, or guarantor of any transaction, and does not handle, hold, or regulate any money or goods exchanged between buyers and sellers. Accordingly, SKLOOPS cannot control the following, and you agree that SKLOOPS is not responsible for:
- the quality, safety, legality, or authenticity of listed items in any respect;
- the truthfulness or accuracy of listed content, a seller's ability to sell, or a buyer's ability to pay;
- the true identity, age, or conduct of any user;
- any content posted or published by any user (including photos, descriptions, messages, and reviews).
- You should interact with other users using common sense and good judgement, and you bear all risks of using the Platform and of interacting with other users.
4. User Eligibility and Accounts
Account holders must be at least 18 years old. The Platform is designed for parents; please do not submit personal data of minors. You warrant that the registration information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity carried out under your account.
- Do not share your password with others, and do not lend, transfer, or sell your account, or create multiple accounts to circumvent any limits of the Platform.
- Notify us immediately if your account is compromised.
- SKLOOPS supports Google OAuth login; third-party login data is handled by Google.
5. Listing Content and User Responsibility
You are fully responsible for the item descriptions, photos, and information you post. You represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner of the items you list, that the items are not stolen, counterfeit, or infringing, are not dangerous or recalled products, and comply with all applicable laws.
- Descriptions must be accurate and not misleading.
- Photos must be genuine images of the item; do not use others' images.
- Do not list illegal, infringing, dangerous, or offensive items.
- Do not post false or misleading information.
6. Transactions and Disputes Between Users
Buyers and sellers arrange the transaction method, location, time, and payment themselves (common methods include cash on meetup, FPS, PayMe, and AlipayHK). SKLOOPS does not provide escrow, does not handle money, and does not guarantee transaction completion.
- If a dispute arises between you and another user, you should resolve it directly with that user; SKLOOPS has no obligation to mediate and is not responsible for any claims, losses, or damages arising from disputes between users.
- You will not hold SKLOOPS responsible for other users' content, actions, or inactions.
- If a dispute between you and another user results in any claim or loss against SKLOOPS, you shall fully compensate SKLOOPS.
- If you suspect fraud, contact the HK Police Anti-Deception Coordination Centre at 18222; SKLOOPS will assist investigations to the extent permitted by law.
7. Use of Other Users' Personal Data
Personal data of other users obtained through the Platform (such as phone numbers or meetup arrangements) may only be used for the purpose of completing that transaction. You must not use it for any other purpose, resell or disseminate it, or use it for direct marketing, and you must comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).
8. Intellectual Property and Content License
You retain intellectual property rights to the photos and content you post. You grant SKLOOPS a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, use, copy, modify (including generating thumbnails and format conversion), display, and publish such content for operating the Platform and promoting your items. The SKLOOPS brand, design, and code remain the intellectual property of SKLOOPS.
- SKLOOPS has the right (but not the obligation) to remove content that violates these Terms at any time.
- You should keep your own backups of uploaded content; after account termination, such content may be deleted and cannot be recovered.
9. Violations and Termination
You may request account deletion at any time by emailing [email protected]; we will process it within 90 days. If you violate these Terms or applicable law, SKLOOPS may suspend or terminate your account and remove your content at any time, without prior notice and without liability.
10. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without any express or implied warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SKLOOPS does not warrant that the Platform will be safe, timely, continuous, uninterrupted, error-free, free of viruses or other harmful components, or compatible with your devices and software.
- All content on the Platform (including photos, descriptions, messages, and reviews) is provided by users; SKLOOPS does not review, endorse, or warrant its truthfulness, legality, accuracy, or completeness.
- SKLOOPS is not responsible for any links to third-party websites or services, or for any communication or transaction you conduct with other users outside the Platform.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Hong Kong law, SKLOOPS shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, or from any communication or transaction with other users, including but not limited to monetary loss, fraud, goods not as described, or loss of profits or data, even if SKLOOPS has been advised of the possibility of such loss. In no event shall SKLOOPS's aggregate liability to you exceed the greater of: (1) the total fees you paid to SKLOOPS in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; and (2) HK$100.
- This section does not apply to or limit: SKLOOPS's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, SKLOOPS's fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
12. Indemnity
You shall fully indemnify and hold harmless SKLOOPS and its members, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) content or items you post; (c) any use of your account; (d) your breach of these Terms; or (e) your violation of any law or infringement of others' rights.
13. Modifications to Terms
SKLOOPS may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Platform for at least 30 days. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SKLOOPS and supersede all prior agreements or understandings. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to reflect the parties' intent, and the remaining provisions remain in full effect. No failure or delay in exercising any right constitutes a waiver of that right. These Terms do not create any agency, partnership, or employment relationship between the parties. No person other than the parties (including any person under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance) may enforce any part of these Terms. These Terms are made in Chinese and English; in case of discrepancy, the Traditional Chinese version prevails.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The Hong Kong courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
